Return to Key InformationAt Robert May’s School, the safety and welfare of our students is paramount to us. We recognise that a young person can only reach their full potential if they feel safe in all aspects of their life.
Everyone on the school site has a responsibility to recognise and report any concerns. We have a dedicated Safeguarding Team who deal with any concerns in the most appropriate way. We work with our parents/carers, when appropriate, and students, to ensure that we have a holistic approach to safeguarding. The Safeguarding Team also have good working relationships with external agencies to further enhance this support.
Our safeguarding procedures and processes are underpinned by Keeping Children Safe in Education (2024) and the Robert May’s School Safeguarding & Child Protection Policy.

Online Safety
If you are concerned about your child’s safety online, these websites contain useful advice and help. The school has a subscription with National Online Safety which has many really helpful resources which are free to parents and carers who register with them.
