Year 7 RAF STEM Challenge
On Tuesday 29th November, we had an amazing opportunity for the whole of Year 7 to work closely with the RAF STEM team, who came into school to run a Glider Challenge.
Model gliders were designed and built by the students and then put to the test out in the tennis courts at the end of the session. They were judged on how far they flew, how high they went and style and appearance. It was a close competition with all students making excellent gliders, the best ones nearly reaching the end of the tennis courts.
