Year 11 Tri-Service Days

This week we welcomed our friends from the Armed Services into Robert May’s School to run some sessions for our Year 11s.

The sessions were a mix of activities where students were tested on their communication, resilience, team working and leadership. We had sessions as diverse as blind walking with a communicator, Swedish Longball, the Spider's Web and Search and Rescue.

We hope the students have some great memories from the day to take forward. The feedback we had from them was very positive and we were delighted by how the students engaged with the activities –  they certainly put a lot into the day. The students we spoke to afterwards picked a range of the activities as their favourite.
