Science Week 2022

We are pleased to be celebrating British Science week from 11th-20th March.

Students in Year 7 and 8 will be taking time in their lessons to think about what 'Growth' on other planets might look like. In lessons students will be making model Mars rovers, celebrating the recent successes of NASA's Perseverance mission to Mars.

In addition students are invited to our science week poster competition on the concept of 'Growth'... (Deadline 2.30pm on Monday 28th March).

Student’s posters could explore a tadpole’s journey into a fully grown adult frog, or look at the ways population growth is affecting the planet. For inspiration on poster ideas, check out the 2021 winner below!

Students must hand their poster to their Science teacher or Mr McTaggart for the chance to win a £20.00 Amazon Voucher.
