Year 11 Careers in the NHS

On Friday 14th March, Year 11 students had the opportunity to hear about the types of jobs available in the NHS.

Over 1.3 million people work for the NHS in the UK and there are over 350 different roles ranging from a huge amount of medical roles through to management and central functions. Students found out about the variety of roles and had a chance to view some of the tools and equipment that some of the jobs use, including trying things on and looking the part! There were a lot of interesting and insightful questions and the students really engaged with the session.
