Year 7 History: Castles Project

Students in Year 7 have been studying medieval life and the feudal system.

As part of the topic we learned about why William the Conqueror built castles when he became King of England in 1066. We then had a closer look at castle features and used this knowledge to built our own castles.

Students had the option to either build a 3D model or create one in Minecraft. The results are amazing and testament to the hard work, passion and creativity our students put into this homework project.
