Sports Day
On Monday the whole of Robert May's took to the field to compete in Sports Day to battle out who would be crowned House Cup Champions 2023 - and what an afternoon it was.
It was filled with a lovely buzz and great community spirit (as well as Mr Grigg’s singing!). Students took to the field for their athletic events and took to the astro for some Ultimate Frisbee, Benchball, Penalty Shootout and Boules. Students also competed earlier in the week in the gym for their High Jump competitions.
It was great to see so many students getting involved and doing it in the name of their House. Every point made such a big difference and it was constantly changing throughout the day.
There was also a chance to raise money for the House charities at lunchtime on Sports Day where teachers put themselves forward for the ‘Sponge the Teacher’ - it was great to see this so well supported and it is great to announce that we raised over £100 for the various charities.
Back to the results of Sports Day.
