Have you considered starting drum lessons?

The drums is a fantastic instrument to start learning from any age. The pursuit of any musical instrument teaches you many skills, with each instrument requiring slightly different techniques and skills. Through the learning of drums you will learn to master 4 way coordination through both hands and feet, the art of steady time-keeping, the development of strong rhythm, and many more musical skills. The drums will teach you how to multitask and think on your feet while focussing on multiple things at once. A great skill to develop for use in both music and general life.

Through drum lessons at Robert May’s School, you can learn to play for a purpose. Be it learning songs, playing in ensembles, working towards grade exams or just developing general technique, you can develop your playing in any way you wish. You will learn with a drum tutor who is actively using these skills in the music industry as a working professional drummer and music director. With credits including BBC Radio 1, ITV1 and BBC Introducing, Drum Tutor Calum Johnson will be guiding you through your drumming journey every step of the way. Heard enough to convince you that drum lessons might be for you? Apply to start now!

To express interest in drum lessons, please complete this enrolment form.

If you have any questions about lessons, please contact calumj45@gmail.com
